The U Bažantnice (German: Fasanerie ) is a wooded hill south of Pomezí nad Ohří (German: Mühlbach ) in northern Bohemia . The summit is at 568 m nm in the middle of the Bučina (German: Buchwald ) in the Czech part of the Kohlwald in the Fichtel Mountains .
geography
The U Bažantnice is the second highest point of the Bučina. North of the mountain, the second class road 606 runs from Cheb (German: Eger ) to Schirnding .
In the geomorphological classification of the neighboring Czech Republic , the Chebská pahorkatina (German: Egerer Hügelland) is assigned to the (High) Fichtel Mountains as the main unit Smrčiny (I3A-1).
history
In earlier years there was an important road to Eger on the north side.

On the summit of the neighboring Zelená hora there is a transmission tower for the Czech radio and a Bismarck tower .
