U Rozcestí

The U Rozcestí (German: Zwiesel ) is a wooded hill west of Svatý Kříž (German: Heiligenkreuz ) in northern Bohemia . The summit lies at 541  m nm in the middle of the Svatokřížský les (German: Heiligenkreuzwald ) in the Czech part of the Kohlwald in the Fichtel Mountains .

South of the summit, the second class road 214 runs from Cheb (German: Eger ) to Waldsassen .

In the geomorphological classification of the neighboring Czech Republic , the Chebská pahorkatina (German: Egerer Hügelland) is assigned to the (High) Fichtel Mountains as the main unit Smrčiny (I3A-1).

history

In earlier years there was an important road to Eger on the south side.
