The Bay of Hatarairun Ulun is located on the Wetar Strait , on the north coast of the island of Timor . The bay is located in the East Timorese municipality of Dili , east of the state capital of the same name .

The bay of Hatarairun Ulun is located between Cape Ponta Hatomanulaho in the west and the mouth of the Lobain and the town of Metinaro in the east. The bay belongs to the Suco Sabuli ( Metinaro Administration Office ). A small mangrove forest stretches along the shore of the bay.
