The Bulnes Point (English; Spanish Punta Bulnes ) is a rocky headland that forms the western foothill of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 0.5 km east of Farewell Rock and 7.5 km northwest of Skottsberg Point .
Participants of the Second Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947–1948) named them after the Chilean politician Manuel Bulnes Sanfuentes (1911–1975), who was then Defense Minister of Chile.
