The Federal Police Department 11 ( BPOLD 11 ) is a German under authority of the Federal Police with headquarters in Berlin in the service building of the Royal Railway Directorate Berlin . The management is directly subordinate to the Federal Police Headquarters. The authority's president is Olaf Lindner, and Thomas Helbig is vice-president .
tasks
According to the Ordinance on the Responsibility of the Federal Police Authorities ( BPolZV ), the factual responsibility of the Federal Police Directorate 11 extends to the tasks according to § 4a (security measures on board aircraft) and uses according to § 8 paragraph 2 (rescue of persons from a current danger to life or limb abroad) and § 9 paragraph 1 number 2 (support of the Federal Foreign Office in the performance of tasks to protect German missions abroad ) of the Federal Police Act . The local jurisdiction covers the entire federal territory .

- Federal Police Air Service
- Police protection tasks abroad of the Federal Police
- Special air traffic protection tasks of the Federal Police
- Mission and investigation support for the Federal Police
The Federal Police's defusing system is also being further developed in the directorate.
structure
The Federal Police Directorate 11 is headed by a President and a Vice-President. The management is divided into three “staff areas”, each with five or six subject areas.

history
The Federal Police Department 11 with effect from 1 August 2017 built . The official opening took place on August 8, 2017 by the then Federal Minister of the Interior Thomas de Maizière .
