Bundestag constituency Dessau - Bitterfeld
The Bundestag constituency Dessau - Bitterfeld was a constituency in Saxony-Anhalt from 1990 to 2002 . He owned the number 289 and included the independent city of Dessau and the district of Bitterfeld . In the course of reducing the number of constituencies in Saxony-Anhalt from thirteen to ten during the constituency reform of 2002 , the area of the constituency was divided between the constituencies of Anhalt and Bernburg - Bitterfeld - Saalkreis .
The last directly elected constituency member was Ilse Schumann ( SPD ).
