Ilse Schumann born Rohne (born February 22, 1939 in Augsdorf , † August 9, 2000 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the German Bundestag from 1994 until her death in 2000 .

Professional background

After completing secondary school , Schumann completed a technical college degree to become a chemical engineer . After all, she worked in large chemical companies in Bitterfeld and Wolfen . She was also a member of the workers' welfare .

In 1990 Schumann joined the SPD . From 1990 to 1994 she was mayor and city ​​councilor of Raguhn in Saxony-Anhalt .
