The constituency of Emden - Leer was a federal constituency in Lower Saxony. It included the area of the city of Emden , the district of Leer and the district of the north .
history
The constituency had constituency number 20. It was newly formed from parts of the constituencies Aurich - Emden and Leer before the federal election in 1965 . In the course of the reorganization of the constituencies before the federal election in 1980, it was finally dissolved. The area of the city of Emden and the northern district, which was incorporated into the Aurich district in 1977 , went to the newly created Aurich - Emden constituency and the Leer district to the new Unterems constituency .
