Buranowo ( Russian Бура́ново , udmurtisch Брангурт) is a village (selo) in Udmurtia , a republic in the Russian federal district of Volga .
In January 2011 the Selo had 658 inhabitants, 123 of whom were employed in the education sector.
Buranowo became known through the singing group Buranowskije Babuschki , which represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku and took second place.
