The Burbecke is a 2.2 km long orographically right tributary of the Ruhr in the North Rhine-Westphalian Niedersfeld , Germany .

geography

The brook rises about 900 m southwest of the Langenberg at an altitude of 720  m above sea level. NHN . From here the Burbecke mainly flows in a south-westerly direction. After a river stretch of around 1.7 km, the stream reaches the outskirts of Niedersfeld , a district of Winterberg . After crossing under the federal highway 480, the stream flows out at 509  m above sea level. NHN in the Ruhr.

With a height difference of 211 m, the mean bed slope is 95.9 ‰. The approximately 3.161 km² catchment area of the Burbecke is drained via the Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea .
