The castle Linden is an Outbound island castle on a peninsula in Linde pond in which the district of Essen village of the municipality Hochdorf in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was built around 1214 and destroyed in 1525. Former owners were the taverns of Winterstetten, Messrs. Schad zur Linden and Messrs. Von Essendorf.
Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex, presumably equipped with a hexagonal residential tower .
