Perštejn Castle

The castle Perštejn (German Pürstein , but also Borsch stone , Birsenstein , Pirsinstein , Piršenštejn ) located at Perštejn ( Pürstein ) in the Ore Mountains in the Czech Republic . From the once quite stately castle, larger parts of the outer walls, the palace and the round keep are still preserved today.

Perštejn was founded at the end of the 13th century, presumably by the lords of Schönburg or Hrabischitz .
