Burlatscha Balka ( Ukrainian Бурлача Балка , Russian Бурлачья Балка Burlatschja Balka ) is a village in Odessa Oblast in southwest Ukraine with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1973, is located on the eastern bank of the Sukhyj Liman just before it flows into the Black Sea, 20 km southwest of Odessa and 11 km northeast of the city of Chornomorsk , to which the village belongs administratively.
The M 27 trunk road runs to the north of Burlatscha Balka . In the village there is a fishing port and the ferry port of Chornomorsk, from which there has been a rail ferry connection to the Bulgarian Varna since 1978 .
