Thirteen lines with a total length of 77.684 kilometers provide access to the city of Grenchen as well as Lengnau BE , Bettlach SO , Selzach , Altreu , Lommiswil , Arch , Büren a. A. , Rüti bB and the Grenchenberg . With 20 buses and 42 employees, 2,186,067 passengers are transported annually.
history
In 1918 the first attempt was made to introduce a bus service in Grenchen. However, this company only survived three years due to financial problems. It was not until 1945 that a bus company was re-established, and with the support of the local watch industry, cantonal and state subsidies were even dispensed with. As a result of the watch crisis, bus operations became financially tight, which is why today's stock corporation was founded in 1975. This has not changed in its form since then, but there has been successively more and more progress with regard to the timetable and bus fleet.
