Bush is a place in the northeast of St. Tammany Parish in the US state of Louisiana .
geography
Bush is south of Sun Town . The Bogue Falaya River runs between Sun and Bush and forms the islands of Coopers Island and Holdens Island here and flows into the Tchefuncte northeast of Bush .

There are several churches on site, including the Methodist Bush Church , the Baptist Sharp’s Chapel Church of God , the Baptist Hebron Church , the Baptist Jerusalem Church , the Pentecostal Victory Faith Unitedpentecostal Church and the Mormon Fifthward Faithway Landmark .

Educational institutions include a day nursery, Fifth Ward Junior High School with 548 students and 40 teachers as a branch of the high school in Marksville, and a branch of the Christ Episcopal School in Covington . There is also a branch of the St. Tammany Parish Library.
traffic
Louisiana Highway 21 runs from the north of Sun to the southwest towards Waldheim and Covington . Highway 41 branches off from Highway 21 in Bush and heads southeast towards Talisheek . Highway 40 coming from the west crosses Highway 21 and shortly thereafter joins Highway 41. The Illinois Central Railroad runs north-south through the town. There is a runway for aircraft next to the railway line.
