The Bustedter Holz is a nature reserve with a size of about 22.8 hectares in the town of Bünde (approx. 22.4 hectares) and the municipality of Hiddenhausen (approx. 0.4 hectares) belonging to the Herford district . It is listed with the number HF-005 and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bustedter Wiesen nature reserve . The Doberg nature reserve is a short distance away . It is primarily a near-natural beech forest that is protected, but also other tree species. In the densely populated Herford district, the area is one of the few large forests.
