Location of Butterburg in Lower Saxony

Butterburg than peasantry a district of Esenshamm in the town of Nordenham in Wesermarsch .

history

In 1948 the community Esenshamm was spun off from the community Abbehausen , at that time it was given the old Esenshammer peasantry Enjebuhr , but a large part of the former Utergadingen peasantry had already been dissolved in Enjebuhr. The Esenshammer share was therefore formed in 1948 as the new Butterburg-Oberdeich farming community. Butterburg, Esenshammer Altendeich, Esenshammer Oberdeich, Finkenburg, Grüneweg, Grünhof, Kronsburg and Okens belong to the farming community.
