history

The Abbehauser Groden, which connects to the north of Esenshammer Groden, was diked in 1555. This was followed by slow colonization. The farmers in 1694 had their own farmer's certificate together with Altendeich . In the middle of the 19th century, Abbehausergroden Hoben (with Hohenmühle), Abbehauserhörne, Abbehauser Wehl, Abbehauser Altendeich, Schlüssel and Würbke belonged to the farming community. The first school was in Abbehausergroden in 1640, it was run by the farmers.
