Esenshammer Groden is the peasantry a district of Esenshamm in the town of Nordenham in Wesermarsch .

history

The development of the village began after the Lockfleht was dyed in 1594 . Esenshammergroden was first mentioned in 1637. In 1636 a school was set up, the teacher was Eberhard Obeking. This school was destroyed during the Christmas flood in 1717 . A new school was only built in 1781. In 1855 the school had 52 students. It was disbanded shortly after the end of World War II .
