Phiesewarden is a district of the Lower Saxon town of Nordenham in the northeast of the Wesermarsch district on the Weser estuary.
history
From the 1st century BC A settlement on a Wurt in Phiesewarden can be proven. In maps of the 17th century the place is called Fiswarden , matching the neighboring Grebswarden . In the Middle Ages, the Wurtensiedlung belonged to the parish of Blexen . In 1933 the municipality of Blexen was added to the city of Nordenham, and Phiesewarden became a district of Nordenham.

The Phiesewarden elementary school was a " reliable elementary school ", which means that all pupils are offered a range of at least five hours a day. In the school year 2009/10 63 children attended school. The school was closed at the end of the 2015/16 school year due to insufficient student numbers.
