Butyl acetate
The butyl acetate (also butyl acetates ) are organic-chemical substances and form a group of four structurally isomeric saturated carboxylic acid esters . They are the esters of acetic acid with the four isomeric butanols . They have the general empirical formula C 6 H 12 O 2 and a molar mass of 116.16 g / mol. The sec -butyl acetate is also chiral and occurs in two enantiomeric forms. So there are five isomers in total .
