action

The first part shows a non-chronological compilation of several of Megan's self-recordings. Megan is a 16 year old girl from New York City . In the recordings, she shows things from her life, such as her room and conversations, for example with her friend or her mother. She suffers from the separation of her parents and cuts herself.

Megan starts an ad on eBay at the persuasion of her friend Stacy, in which she wants to auction her virginity. She accepts an offer from a Peter who offers her $ 2,000. Since she is still a minor, she claims to be nineteen years old.

She has sex with Peter and gets the money. The next scene is two weeks later. It shows a suicide attempt . Megan cuts her wrists, but calls her mother so that she can be taken to the hospital and survive. Subsequent text overlays tell that Megan successfully completed a treatment.

The second part tells the same story. Only in a narrative style. Different camera settings are used. Because of this, the sex scene could be shown in more detail.
