Byeon Hee-bong (born June 8, 1942 in Jangeseong , South Jeolla , Chōsen as Byeon In-cheol ( 변인 철 )) is a South Korean actor who has become known internationally primarily for his role in The Host . He became a cult star in the 1970s through his eccentric roles in South Korean drama series.
