Byschiw ( Ukrainian Бишів ; Russian Бышев Byschew , Polish Byszów ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 2800 inhabitants (2004).

Orthodox Church in Byzhiv

The village, founded in 1509, lies on the banks of the Lupa ( Лупа ), a 14 km long tributary of the Irpin and on the regional road P-04 . Byschiw is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Makariw district , which also includes the three villages Horobijiwka ( Горобіївка ) with about 240 inhabitants, Lubske ( Лубське ) with about 50 inhabitants and Ferma ( Ферма ) with about 10 inhabitants. The village is located 57 km southwest of the Kiev oblast center and 24 km south of the Makariv district center .
