The Bystrzyca (German Habelschwerdter Weistritz , also Kressenbach ) is a left tributary of the Nysa Kłodzka ( Glatzer Neisse ) in Poland .

It rises in the Habelschwerdter Mountains on the Vogelberg (870 m; Polish Smolna ) and flows on the mountain range in a slight valley to the southeast. Above the village of Młoty ( Hammer ), the Weistritz flows with a steep gradient into the Glatzer basin and changes its course to the east.

The river flows through the village of Stara Bystrzyca ( Altweistritz ) and flows into the Nysa Kłodzka after about 23 km in the town of Bystrzyca Kłodzka ( Habelschwerdt ).
