The CAS International 2006 took place from 1 to 6 November, 2006 Islamabad , Pakistan instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2006/07 and belonged to the category 2 ½ star . The prize money was $ 25,000.
Last year's winner Adrian Grant did not take part in the tournament again. In the final of the two top seeded players, Borja Golán prevailed against Mansoor Zaman , who surrendered due to injury at 9:11, 11: 8, 11: 8 and 2: 0 for Golán. For Golán it was the 13th title win on the World Tour.
The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Bilal Zaman a spot in the main draw.
