Nicol David secured the title at the tournament for the third time in a row. After victories over Samantha Terán , Laura Massaro and Alison Waters , she met Natalie Grinham in the final , who she defeated 11: 9, 11: 8 and 11: 9. It was David's 39th career title on the tour.
The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Pamela Chua a spot in the main draw.
