The Chinese Software Developer Network or China Software Developer Network ( CSDN for short ) is the largest networks and information portal for software developers in the People's Republic of China . It is made by Bailian Midami Digital Technology Co. Ltd. operated and has around 25 million registered users. CSDN offers web forums , blog hosting, a download area , a job exchange , IT news and other services for developers. With 1.3 million hits per day and 30 active users per month, the site ranks 35th among the most viewed websites in the world and 14th in China, measured by Alexa Internet rankings . It includes over 10 million forum entries, over 13 million blog entries, over 7 million technical resources, and over 200 technical magazines. CSDN employs more than 400 full-time employees in Beijing , Shanghai , Shenzhen , Chengdu and Shenyang ( Jiangsu ) and cooperates with thousands of technology companies and technology communities.

CSDN was founded in 1999. In 2002, CSDN started a collaboration with Microsoft , which has supported developers on the site ever since. In December 2005, Baidu rated the CSDN blog as one of the best Chinese blog service providers. In December 2011, 6,000,000 user data was reported as leaked by CSDN .
