Club Sportif Sfaxien ( Arabic النادي الرياضي الصفاقسي, DMG an-Nādī ar-Riyāḍī aṣ-Ṣafāqusī ) is a Tunisian sports club from Sfax , which is best known for its football department.

The association was founded in 1928 under the name Club Tunisien . Back then the club colors were green and red. In 1947 the club rose to the first division, the Division d'Honneur . In 1950 the first fan club was founded under the direction of Béchir Fendri. In 1962 the club was renamed and received its current name, Club Sportif Sfaxien . In addition, the club's colors were changed to black and white.

On the 50th birthday of the club in 1978, the club became Tunisian champions. This was achieved primarily through a team strengthened with Tunisian national players such as Hamadi Agrebi , Mohammed Ali Akid and Mokhtar Dhouib . A total of eight championships and four cup victories have been won so far.

In 1998 the club achieved its first international success with the victory over ASC Jeanne d'Arc Dakar in the CAF Cup. In addition, the Arab Champions League was won twice.
