Louis Gomis (born December 3, 1974 in Dakar ) is a former Senegalese football player on the position of a striker .

Career

In the club

Gomis began his career with the ASC Yego Dakar club in his hometown. He came to Belgium for SK Lommel in 1999 through the clubs CS Sfax and Étoile Sportive du Sahel . During the 2000/2001 season, 1. FC Nürnberg got him . This season he was used 24 times in the second division and made a decisive contribution to the club's rise with his 10 goals . In the 2001/02 season he came after the commitment Paulo Rinks and the rise of Cacau in the first team hardly used and scored 2 goals in 24 Bundesliga games.

At the end of the season, his expired contract was not extended and he left the FCN with an unknown goal. Shortly afterwards he joined MSV Duisburg , where he was unable to assert himself. In August 2003 he therefore moved to the Belgian first division club RAEC Mons , later to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus and to SCO Angers . In 2005 he joined his former club CS Sfax . In 2006 he moved to the Oberliga Nordost for Berlin AK 07 (Berlin Ankaraspor Kulübü) and ended his career there.
