history

In 1932 the club was founded under the name Lommelsche SK by players from the previously dissolved Lommelsche VV ; When it was accepted into the Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB), the club received its stam number 1986. Fifteen years after it was founded, Lommelsche SK was renamed Lommelse SK , in 1968 it was renamed KFC Lommelse SK. In 2003, the club had eight match days before the end of the season Filed for bankruptcy and was dissolved after all games were canceled and the club was the first to be relegated.

After the dissolution, the remnants of the association were integrated into the KVV Overpelt Fabriek from Overpelt ( stam number 2554); the merger resulted in the association KVSK United Overpelt-Lommel , which in turn merged seven years later with KFC Racing Mol-Wezel from Mol . The resulting club Lommel United currently (as of April 2016) plays in the second division .
