Dariusz Szubert (born October 31, 1970 in Białogard ) is a former Polish football player .

Club career

Dariusz Szubert played in Poland mainly for Pogoń Stettin and also briefly with Widzew Łódź . From 1994 to 1997 he played in Germany , first with FC St. Pauli in the 2nd Bundesliga and later also in the Bundesliga (23 Bundesliga games). After Oldenburg was relegated to the regional league as bottom of the table , Szubert moved to Switzerland for FC Zurich . Here, however, he could not prevail and after only a short time moved to Belgium to SK Lommel . Here he spent three seasons. At the end of 1999 he returned to Poland and played here for Pogoń Stettin and Widzew Łódź, although he had already ended his professional career at the end of 2002. From 2004 to 2007 he played in the amateur field for 1. FC Germania Egestorf / Langreder in Germany.

National team

Szubert played a total of three times for the Polish national team in 1994 . With the Polish Olympic selection, he won the silver medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona .
