Cabouco is a Portuguese community ( freguesia ) in the Lagoa district , on the Azores island of São Miguel . 1921 inhabitants live in it on an area of 5 km² (as of June 30, 2011).
The parish was founded in 1980 when it was separated from the parish of Nossa Senhora do Rosário .
