Cadafaz is a locality and former municipality in Portugal .
history
Traces of the ore mining carried out here by the Romans and Arabs prove that the municipality was settled for a long time, but the first official documents about the present-day location come from its elevation to the municipality in 1560. Cadafaz has always belonged to the Góis district until today.
Culture and sights
In addition to the Capela de Santo António from the 16th century, the single-nave parish church ( Igreja Paroquial de Cadafaz , also Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Neves ), built in 1686, is listed.
