The Calkin Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Kukri Hills, it flows north to the lower end of the Taylor Glacier .
Participants of the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott mapped it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1964 after the American geologist Parker Emerson Calkin (1933-2017) from Tufts University , who carried out two summer campaigns in the area of the glacier as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program between 1960 and 1962 .
