Cambridge Sculpture Trails

The Cambridge Sculpture Trails (dt .: sculptures ways in Cambridge ) are the combination of three sculptures paths in the university town of Cambridge in the UK , where about 60 sculptures are erected. The three routes run through South Cambridge ( Sculpture Trail 1 ), the city center ( Sculpture Trail 2 ) and West Cambridge ( Sculpture Trail 3 ).

Sculpture path 1

The Sculpture Path 1 shows a war memorial and numerous works of abstract art . It starts at the train station, leads through the lively city and shows examples of the integration of works of art and architecture. It passes the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Scott Polar Research Institute .

Sculpture path 2

Sculpture Walk 2 begins in the historic center of Cambridge. On this path there are over 30 sculptures from the animal world, such as horses, crocodiles and bears and other subjects.

Sculpture path 3

The Sculpture Path 3 leads through the western Cambridge with loose buildings and shows numerous sculptures made of steel and bronze.
