Varia
In 1904 one of the most important chess tournaments in history took place in Cambridge Springs . The winner was Frank Marshall before the former world chess champion Emanuel Lasker and fourteen other players. A variant of the Queen's Gambit , which was used several times in the tournament, has since been called the Cambridge Springs variant .
