Camilla Dallerup
Camilla Dallerup (* 1974 in Aalborg ) is a Danish professional dancer who has lived in Great Britain for several years . Has been known to a larger audience since 2004 through regular participation in the British dance show Strictly Come Dancing . In 2007 she represented Great Britain with Brendan Cole at the first edition of the Eurovision Dance Contest .
Life
Camilla Dallerup has been dancing since she was two when her mother enrolled her in a dance school in Aalborg. At the age of twelve she won the Danish Youth Championships before moving to England a few years later . There she met Brendan Cole , her future dance partner and fiancé, with whom she took part in various dance competitions. The couple celebrated their greatest success in 2003 when they took third place at the British Championships in the "Latin American Dances" category. Some time later, she and Brendan Cole separated professionally after he had an affair with Natasha Kaplinsky , with whom he won the first season of Strictly Come Dancing. Ian Waite has been her constant dance partner since 2005. The couple took second place in the Latin American Dancer at the British Championships.

Participation in the Eurovision Dance Contest
Camilla Dallerup and Brendan Cole were selected internally by the BBC in 2007 to represent Great Britain in the first edition of the Eurovision Dance Contest . With their rumba and freestyle performance, the couple could not convince the European spectators and came in 15th and penultimate place with 18 points. The second dance was the couple's last appearance together.
