Jean Edith Camilla Läckberg Eriksson (born August 30, 1974 in Fjällbacka ) is a popular Swedish crime writer .

Läckberg's books are set in the area where she was born, Fjällbacka , a small port on the west coast of Sweden in the Bohuslän region . The main characters in the novels are the writer Erica Falck and the policeman Patrik Hedström. Her books have been translated into several languages ​​and have been published in 30 countries with a circulation of over six million copies. The first two books Isprinsessan and preachers were filmed in 2007, the two supplementary volumes Stenhuggaren 2009 Olycksfågeln of 2010.
