Camillo Furio Romano-Avezzana (born October 4, 1867 in Naples , † June 15, 1949 in Eboli ) was an Italian diplomat .

Life

From 1907 to April 17, 1910 he was envoy to Tehran . On July 13, 1911, he was promoted to extraordinary and plenipotentiary second class envoy and on February 23, 1918 first class envoy. From 1919 to February 25, 1921 he was envoy in Washington, DC From October 29 and November 23, 1921 he was a delegate at the conference in Portorož of the successor states of Austria-Hungary , France, USA and the United Kingdom for rail, postal services and telegraphy. On January 29, 1922, he was Secretary General at the Genoa Conference . From November 10, 1922 to February 6, 1927 he was envoy in Paris . On July 18, 1930 he was a member of the Greek-Italian Conciliation Commission.

On January 23, 1934 Viktor Emanuel III took him . in his Senato del Regno .
