Campbell Flakemore (born August 6, 1992 in Hobart ) is a retired Australian cyclist .

Campbell Flakemore became a member of the Genesys Wealth Advisers team in 2011 and took second place on a section and in the overall ranking of the Mersey Valley Tour . In 2012 he won the bronze medal at the national U23 championships in the individual time trial and reached sixth place in this discipline at the Oceanic Road Cycling Championships . In addition, he achieved his first success on the UCI Oceania Tour with a victory in the opening time trial of the New Zealand Cycle Classic , and Flakemore took third place in the overall standings of this stage race . In 2013 he won the silver medal in the individual time trial (U23) at the oceanic cycling championships.

Flakemore has been described by experts as an "unusual talent". Cadel Evans saw in him the Australian hope for victory in the great tours. In 2015 Flakemore received a contract with BMC . In November of the same year he announced that he had terminated his contract with BMC and that he would be stepping down from competitive cycling in order to pursue a university education. He felt lonely at the races in Europe and was disillusioned.
