The 1927-28 season was the second regular season of the Canadian Professional Hockey League (CPHL). The Stratford Nationals became champions .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Detroit Olympics were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Kitchener Millionaires were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Toronto Ravinas were added to the league as an expansion team.

In the regular season, the eight teams played 42 games each. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
