On tour they are mostly supported by DJ Cip-One.

history

In 1995, the two rappers first attracted attention as solo artists and with their crew Atoms Family in the New York underground.

In 1999 Vast Aire released a song for the first time on an official record. Adversity Strikes (One + One) and Not For Promotial Use were included on the sampler Persecution of Hip-Hop , which was released on the Centrifugal Force label and developed into an insider tip. The two songs also found their way onto several mixtapes . This was followed by further sampler contributions and songs on independently sold mix CDs and unofficial albums by the Atoms Family. In 2001 Definitive Jux released the maxi single DPA (As Seen On TV) / Simian D AKA Feeling Ignorant / Simple / Iron Galaxy / Straight Off The DIC with Company Flow and the pre-release single for the album The Cold Vein , Vein / A B-Boy's Alpha out.

Her debut album The Cold Vein was released in May 2001 and was received positively by fans and critics alike. The entire album was produced by Definitive Jux- CEO El-P , guests include other underground rappers such as C-Rayz Walz, Cryptic One, Alaska, LIFE Long and El-P. The track "The F-Word" was released as the second single before Cannibal Ox got a little quieter. However, promotional tours and feature contributions continued to follow, among others with Jean Grae , Aesop Rock or in the case of Vast Aire as part of the Weathermen .

In 2003/2004 both members released solo albums, Vast Aire Look Mom ... No Hands and Vordul Mega The Revolution of Yung Havoks .

In November 2005 they released a live CD called "Return of the Ox" on the Fragmanted Music label.

After eight years without publications, the comeback EP Gotham was released in April 2013 .

The second studio album Blade of the Ronin , mostly produced by Bill Cosmiq, was released on March 3, 2015.
