The Cape Canwe is a high, rocky cliff at the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located around 5 km north of Vegetation Island in the western foothills of the Northern Foothills or on the eastern flank of the lower section of the Priestley Glacier .
The cape was first explored as part of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . It was named after the fact that the participants of the northern group of the expedition saw the cape from afar, but doubted whether they could reach it (English: Can we?, German: Can we? ).
