The Cape Roberts is a promontory at the Scott-coast of the east Antarctic Victoria Land The chapter is at the northeast end of the Wilson-Piedmont glacier the southern border the entrance to Granite Harbor ,
Participants in the Nimrod Expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered it. It is named after William Roberts (* 1872), assistant zoologist and cook of the expedition team. From 1997 to 1999, drill cores were taken from the Cape as part of the Cape Roberts Project to reconstruct the history of the glaciation of Antarctica.
