Capelli New York is an American fashion brand and clothing company . It sells fashion accessories, footwear, home accessories, jewelry, hair accessories, hosiery and gift items.
The headquarters of the Capelli New York group of companies is in New York City , the European headquarters, which operates under the name Capelli Europe GmbH , is in Ratingen , Germany .
Companies
The company was founded in New York City in 1990. Initially , hair accessories were mainly sold under third-party labels , hence the name Capelli , which means 'hair' in Italian. With the expansion of the product range to include all kinds of fashion accessories in the broadest sense, the development of the Capelli New York brand began, initially primarily in the specialist departments of many large retailers in the USA. The establishment of own sales channels is now taking place in the USA through own shops with a focus on the states of New York and New Jersey . In June 2011, the first flagship store was opened on the renowned 5th Avenue .
In Germany, Capelli Europe GmbH has an online shop operated by order and the only shop in Europe so far at Karlsplatz Stachus in the Galeria Kaufhof Munich. Capelli is also the supplier of the Greek champions 2018 AEK Athens , the German third division clubs MSV Duisburg , KFC Uerdingen 05 and SV Waldhof Mannheim and the regional league clubs FSV Frankfurt ( Regionalliga Südwest ) and SC Fortuna Köln ( Football Regionalliga West ) and SV Straelen ( Football Oberliga Niederrhein ). Capelli also holds 10.1% of the shares in the professional division of MSV Duisburg.
Fashion brand
Capelli New York concentrates on fashion accessories , or everything that complements the actual outfit. The main target groups are women, but there is also a smaller line of men's and children's items. The individual areas are divided into:

- Shoes - sandals, flip flops, ballerinas, slippers, rubber boots, boots, ankle boots

Licenses
Capelli Europe GmbH has held the Europe-wide license for "Timmy Time", known in Germany as Timmy the Sheep , for children's accessories and shoes since 2011 .
