Liverpool amateur boxer Jimmy and his two best friends Dan and Eddy leave England and immigrate to the United States in the late 1920s. Al Capone's right-hand man, the brutal thug Georgio, becomes aware of the talented young boxer and invites him to box for him in Chicago and lets him train. While Jimmy is being built, Dan and Eddy do minor jobs in the circles of the Capone Organization. But later things start to falter. Jimmy falls in love with the wrong woman and Capone's son is kidnapped in the presence of Dan and Eddy.
