The Caribou River is a tributary of Lake Superior in Lake County in the US state of Minnesota .

The Caribou River rises south of Morris Lake . It flows in a predominantly southerly direction through the Canadian Shield and flows into Lake Superior 10 km northeast of Little Marais . The Caribou River has a length of 15 miles.
