Carina Dengler (born November 11, 1994 in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz , Bavaria ) is a German actress and singer of popular music .

Life

Dengler comes from Pilsach in the Bavarian district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate . Since 2010 Dengler has been working as a singer in the field of folk music under the name “Carina”. She performed at various folk music festivals in Germany , Austria and Switzerland . In parallel to her work as a singer, she trained as a hairdresser .

In September 2010 she released her first own album I lifted a Bavarian heart . Her second album Folk Music Was Yesterday followed in February 2013 .

Dengler has played in the BR series Dahoam is Dahoam since 2013 . Her participation in Dahoam is Dahoam is Dengler's first film role. Dengler got the role after a casting with over 600 applicants. She embodies the role of Katharina "Kathi" Benninger in the series; she is the new trainee from the Kirchleitner brewery from Upper Palatinate . She is part of the main cast. It had its first appearance in episode 1196.

In September 2014 Dengler released her third folk music album entitled Sexy Folk Music . In March 2017, the fourth album with the title A Madl vom Land followed .

In February 2018 Dengler announced that from now on he would exclusively devote himself to acting and her role in Dahoam is Dahoam . This was followed by her last public appearance as a singer at the end of February.

Dengler lives in Pilsach.
