Carl Ackermann

Carl Ackermann , also Carl G. Ackermann (* 1790 in Niederplanitz , † March 28, 1859 in Buchholz ) was a German publisher .

Ackermann bought the Obererzgebirgische Zeitung , founded in 1854 , the “Heimatblatt for all people's circles in the Upper Erzgebirge border area; General-Anzeiger for the entire Upper Ore Mountains ”, on September 17, 1858 by Karl Lindner. The Obererzgebirgische Zeitung was one of the most important newspapers in the Ore Mountains and was published until 1945. Its roots go back to 1806.
